We’ve already had exciting news that singer Anastacia and Louise Redknapp have reportedly signed up for the next series of Strictly Come Dancing, but now even more exciting news has just been announced…
Strictly’s reigning champ Aliona Vilani will be making a shock comeback to the show, after quitting last year.
However, it’s unclear whether the dancer, who announced her departure via Twitter after winning the 2015 series, will actually appear on our screens.
Aliona, who danced to victory with Jay McGuinness, is in talks about choreographing on the show and will reportedly be first in line if one of the dancers has an injury.
A source has told the Daily Mirror, ‘She is bored and really keen to get back on the show in some capacity.

‘She is currently talking to show bosses about having a choreography role, and she is their number one dancer to turn to if someone has an injury.
‘She’s over the moon and realised she was a bit hasty in her decision to quit.’
This year’s Strictly has undergone a few changes, with three new dancers joining the line-up.
At least one thing’s for certain; as reigning champs, Aliona and Jay will open the upcoming series with a dreamy dance.
Here’s hoping we’ll get to witness her pull on her dancing shoes a few more times…
