Well, we can safely Martine McCutcheon was in a VERY good mood when appearing on this weekend’s Saturday Kitchen. Joining Donal Skehan and chefs Paul Askew and Nigel Haworth, Martine was certainly getting into the spirit of the show.
And while we just think it’s the sunny weather putting her in a good mood, many viewers took to Twitter suggesting the wine on offer may have something to do with it.

Yep, they weren’t just eating fish for breakfast, the group also had a delicious wine paired with it. In fact, the wine was so good in Natalie’s opinion she said: ‘I actually love it,’
But the best part was yet to happen. Soon after the wine drinking began, Martine conveniently got a case of the giggles, and the moment Nigel mentioned the word ‘cockles,’ she was off.
‘It’s the word cockles,’ she giggled. ‘The word cockles just makes me laugh.’
A bemused Donal Skehan turned to the camera saying, ‘I don’t know why she’s finding mussels and cockles so funny!’

Martine definitely deserved a drink after viewers voted for her to eat her ‘food hell,’ which was a tuna steak. But the actress took it all in her stride, taking to social media after the show to say she had ‘so much fun.’
Martine was on the popular weekend cooking show promoting Red Nose Day and Comic Relief, where she’ll be reprising her role as Natalie in Love Actually. And she got a big thumbs on from viewers who loved her appearance.
And one thing’s for sure… we want to go on a night out with Martine. She looks like good fun!
