A toy company has launched an inspiring new doll collection that’s unlike anything you’ll find in your local toy store.
In a bid to create more diversity in kids’ toys, 3-D printing company MakieLab has created dolls with disabilities.
These include a doll with a walking aid, one with a hearing aid and another with a birthmark on her face.
This was inspired by the Toy Like Me social movement, where parents started making their own toys so that they would reflect their children’s disabilities.
Makies – as the dolls are called – are available to buy now for £79 at mymakie.com.
