Oysters can certainly be an expensive purchase, but Morrisons has decided to slash the price of the slippery shellfish especially for Valentine’s Day.
Known to be an aphrodisiac, oysters are down to 25p each at the supermarket, or £1.50 for a pack of six.

Usually costing around £1.50-2 per oyster in restaurants, the supermarket is cutting the price in attempt to get people to try the shellfish, after finding that 40% of Brits had never actually tasted one.
And to ensure they have enough, they're buying 200,000 of them from Scotland in the build-up to the most romantic day of the year.
So why are oysters seen as the ultimate shellfish for romance? Well, they're packed with zinc, which it's been claimed can lead to an increase in testosterone levels.
And if you're worried about spoiling the seductive mood by failing to open the oyster properly, Morrisons is also running oyster preparation classes in 219 of its stores.
So grab the lemon and the Tabasco, and join the queue at the fish counter!
