We love gin, and we love it when fellow gin lovers introduce the tipple into other products. Gin truffles, gin marshmallows, gin jam – you name it, we’ll want it.

And now Gin & Tonic Chocolate is the latest item on our boozy wish list.

Created by the brand Love Cocoa (whose founder James Cadbury is the great-great-great grandson of the Cadbury chocolate founder), the G&T chocolate bar is the perfect treat for any gin lover.

Made from 70% organic, fair trade dark Ecuadorian dark chocolate, this bare contains juniper, lemon and lime, used to create that G&T flavour.

While we can happily scoff an entire bar on its own, Love Cocoa has kindly offered some gin and tea pairings to help make that chocolate experience a little more exciting.

The team recommend pairing the chocolate with either an ‘uncomplicated gin’ with spicy flavourings, such as Portobello Road Gin with its hints of pepper, citrus, fennel and coriander.

But if you’re more of a tea drinker, they suggest a green tea accompanied with lemongrass. Tregothnan, the first tea grown in England, is apparently a great choice with its palate cleansing properties.

You can pick up a bar of the stuff for £4, or push the boat out and splash the cash on a bar box from Yumbles for £11.95, which includes two bars of G&T chocolate, plus a bar of Sea Salt chocolate.

Now excuse us while we bulk buy some of this…
