Is it any surprise that a £5.99 bottle of Prosecco is one of Aldi's best-selling products, with the budget supermarket selling the equivalent to 21,000 bottles a day?
The Italian sparkling wine has been proving incredibly popular at Aldi, reaffirming that the nation's love of the fizz isn't about to slow down anytime soon.
Described as the 'ideal partner' for delicate fish, white meats and fresh cheese, Aldi's Castellore Prosecco Spumante DOC has received rave reviews online from customers with over 800 5* reviews on the Aldi website.
"Perfect as usual and great price! Bought lots to be stocked up for summertime," once customer wrote.
"I have bought this bubbly a few times now, usually when on special offer. A great tasting Prosecco and highly recommend! Can’t fault it," said another.
