I work remotely as a tech writer – and if I’ve made one investment in my home office setup that’s paid off more than most, it was buying myself a decent monitor.

The best computer monitors can transform how you work and enjoy digital media at home. Options range from compact, productivity-boosting models that you might use as a second screen for your laptop, right up to ultra-wide gaming monitors with premium specs and curved screens.

One of the biggest benefits of a monitor is that you can use it with a wide variety of devices. I use mine with my laptop every day – and sometimes plug in my dear, old PS4 for some lag-free gaming, if I’ve done enough work during the day.

Good monitors are usually pretty expensive, but you can save money by waiting around for a sale. On that note, the Prime Big Deal Days event (8-9 October, 2024) is happening now over on Amazon – so I’ve gazed deep into my monitor to find the best discounts for you. You'll need to act fast to take advantage of them though, the bargains will only last until midnight tonight!

Shop the sale

I chose the deals below based on the level of discount offered and the quality of the monitors listed. There are deals to suit a variety of users, from students and families to professionals and gamers – but not, the deals expire at midnight and require a Prime membership.

I’ve closely, *ahem*, monitored Amazon's sale to find the best discounts on monitors to use with your laptop, desktop computer or games console. Read on to find the biggest and best deals for a wide range of users.
