The Blink Mini 2 smart security camera launched this May with a bite-sized £34.99 RRP – but that hasn’t stopped Amazon from slapping a 40% discount on the clever new device for Amazon Prime Day (16-17 July).

This limited-time deal sees the price of the Blink Mini 2 reduced for the very first time ever. From now until midnight on Wednesday, 17 July, the device costs a double-take-inducing £20.99.

Building on the success of the original Blink Mini – which remains the top-ranked product in our roundup of the best wifi security cameras – the new-for-2024 Blink Mini 2 has brought some significant upgrades, including ‘person detection’ and support for outdoor use.

What to read next

Our reviewer recently got hands-on with the Blink Mini 2, and they were impressed with the camera’s compact design, simple set-up, motion sensitivity and overall performance. The device is compatible with Alexa, weather-resistant, and captures security footage in 1,920 x 1,080 resolution.

Considering the low price you pay for it, the Blink Mini 2 is a convenient and capable security camera. That said, it does have its downsides. Night footage is a little grainy, and the Blink app used to operate the device is a little on the basic side. But really, this is a superb-value camera at its £34.99 normal price, let alone at the current Prime Day discount.

blink mini 2 deal

Prime Day ends at midnight on 17 July, so there’s not much time left to bag a cut-price Blink Mini 2 to secure your home. We’re unlikely to see quite such a deep discount again until Black Friday – and winter is still months away, according to the calendar at least.

In order to access the £20.99 Prime Day Deal on the Blink Mini 2, you must be a Prime member. Those without a Prime membership are stuck with the non-deal price of £34.99.

The good news for non-Prime members is that you can sign up for a one-month trial of the service, free of charge. An ongoing subscription costs £8.99/month – but you’ll have the option to cancel at any time.
