Premium audio brand Bose has slashed the price of its QuietComfort SC wireless noise-cancelling headphones by 47% for Prime Big Deal Days 2024.
In one of the best deals of Amazon Prime Big Deal Days 2024 (8-9 October), the price of the highly-rated headphones has plummeted to £170.95, from an eye-watering RRP of £319.95.
This is an all-time low price on an excellent pair of over-ear headphones. Previously, the lowest price we’d seen on the QuietComfort SC had been just under £180 – a discounted rate that was available for Prime Day this July. Given the headphones’ high-end RRP, today’s more heavily discounted price is a bona fide Prime Big Deal Days tech bargain.
If you're in the market for headphones with superb active noise cancellation, ample battery life (up to 24 hours) and high-fidelity audio with EQ control, this model would be a great pick.
The QuietComfort SC is practically the same as another, more expensive Bose product: the Bose QuietComfort Headphones, which is also discounted for Prime Day, albeit just by not quite as much (now £222.25; RRP: £349.95).
With the SC, you get the headphones in a soft case (hence ‘SC’) rather than a hard case, and the only available colour is Black. These are the only things separating the SC from the standard QuietComfort, which featured in several of our top headphones guides, including our roundup of the best noise-cancelling headphones.
In our tech team’s opinion, the QuietComfort can even go toe-to-toe with the super-premium QuietComfort Ultra on several key factors, including comfort and noise cancellation. Differences in sound quality between the two models are minor, at best.
In a nutshell, Amazon’s live Prime Day deal on the QuietComfort SC gives you something very close to a £450 pair of headphones for the far more accessible price of £170.95.
If you want a premium pair of headphones, but your budget is more mid-market, here’s your chance. The sale ends at midnight on Wednesday, 9 October.
Amazon Prime Day deals are available exclusively to Prime members – so you won’t be able to grab a discount on the Bose QuietComfort SC unless you’re signed up to Amazon’s service.
If you’re not a Prime member yet, you can claim a one-month free trial to access Prime Day deals and other Amazon Prime services. You’ll pay £8.99/month from then on – unless you decide to cancel your membership before the end of the one-month trial period.
