7 best baby jumpers and activity centres for 2025
Keep them entertained with these mini playgrounds

When it comes to the best parenting products, having a large, colourful – and possibly noisy – activity centre is perhaps something that most first-time parents might hope to avoid. But as your baby grows more curious and begins to sit up, it's easier to see the appeal!
They do take up space, and their aesthetic is usually aimed at babies rather than parents (unless you happen to be a fan of bright, shiny, plastic things?), but the best baby jumpers can offer a few free moments to prepare dinner or clean up while your baby is having loads of fun in their own indoor playground.

Bouncing up and down is by no means required for your little one's development. It's important to note that the NHS recommends plenty of tummy time to encourage rolling, sitting and crawling, which will set your baby up for walking. You should never put your baby in a bouncer, walker or seat for excessive periods of time. It's best to limit playtime in these activity centres to no more than 20 minutes at a time.
There are two different types: a stationary jumper that sits on the floor and works with a stand, like a baby's activity centre but with bounce; and a doorway jumper that hangs inside a doorway. Our list includes both options.
