There are certain brands, like Fairy and Woolworths that evoke childhood memories and sentimentality. Marigold is also one of them. Known by many for its rubber cleaning gloves, the company has been going for nearly 70 years.

Now it's branching out into a new range of cleaning cloths and scourers to go alongside their rubber gloves. Among the new products are the Squeaky Clean (£1.99) microfibre cloth, Oops Away (£1.99 for a six pack) semi-disposable cloths to act in place of kitchen roll and Clean & Gleam (£1.99 for a two pack) two-sided anti-bac scourer with a scourer on one side and a non-woven cloth on the other.
