With a £499.95 price tag, you've got to want a lot of smoothies to justify the outlay! Designed to prepare hot soups, smoothies, dips, frozen desserts and even mill flour, this blender claims to be the first in the world with a green smoothie option.
The green smoothie option means it's designed to blend leafy veg to a fine consistency so you can drink your concoction straight after blending – no lumps, stringy bits and very little froth is the claim. And it does just that. Our testers were impressed with the results.
This new super blender has 12 speed settings making it ideal for crushing, mixing and blending. We found it easy to control and efficient. The jug isn't too heavy either, which is a plus, and the heavy duty blade and bowl system means speedy results and no trapped lumps!
If you love making your own soup, the beauty of this beast is that it blends the ingredients and then heats them up at the same time. Painless – and it cuts down on cleaning thanks to the auto clean option.
On the downside, the blender is extremely noisy and, when on full power, the powerful wind from the motor beneath it is hard to ignore!
If you use a blender frequently, make soups, milkshakes and green smoothies, then The Boss is worth considering. Available at lakeland.co.uk for £499.95
