‘I review travel products for a living – these are the deals I'm shopping before Amazon Prime Day ends'

For something that stands out on the luggage belt, look no further than this large suitcase. The capacity expands up to 110 litres and its hard sided design was durable when our testers bashed it around a bit. The zip isn't waterproof, and it was a bit noisy on cobbles, but it's a great value buy.

This is our highest rated soft shell suitcase, and at 2.7kg it's also super lightweight. Testers found that it moves smoothly, is roomy inside and has comfortable handles.

It fared okay in our durability tests too, although unsurprisingly didn't quite compare to hard shell cases. But for something that won't eat into your luggage allowance, this is a great buy.

This sleek suitcase is expandable, giving you all the flexibility you could need when you're away. It had stand-out wheels which moved well and proved robust. In fact, it did well in our durability tests too. And Antler offers a lifetime warranty.

This tried and tested hold suitcase gives you up to 112.5 litres of space for all your luggage. Testers found everything packed away securely, and it moved smoothly on test. It's soft-sided so don't leave it in the rain, but otherwise it's a sturdy buy.

This is the GHI's best budget cabin bag. It comes in array of bright colours, was durable on test and moved smoothly. The zip's not waterproof but keep it out of downpours and that's no problem. There are three pockets inside too, so you should be able to pack your belongings neatly.

Just like its bigger counterpart this Antler buy exudes quality. In fact it fared very similarly on test, proving robust and reliable. It's undoubtedly one that I'd be happy to jet off with on my next city break.

This vibrant cabin bag impressed GHI testers with its smooth moving wheels. It has a TSA-approved lock, the inside was relatively spacious (for a carry-on) and the shell was waterproof even if the zip let in a little moisture.

There's no side handle to help with popping it in the overhead locker, but its telescopic handle worked well.

Lots of team Good Housekeeping swear by this unique travel pillow, thanks to its excellent neck support. It's portable and lightweight, and once you get to grips with how to wrap it, it should leave you feeling very comfortable on your next long haul flight.

Block out the hum of the AC on your next overnight flight with these highly-rated ear plugs. Our testers were impressed with their top-notch noise cancellation and by how comfortable they are to sleep with thanks to the range of interchangeable tips which create a barely-there feel.
