Jetting off on holiday is always exciting, but making sure you have everything you need for your trip can start to add up – whether it’s a new suitcase, a cosy travel pillow or a handy power bank to stop your phone running out of charge.

But with Amazon Prime Day falling early on in holiday season, now is the perfect time to stock up on travel accessories for less. To help you find the best bargains, our GHI homes editor, who reviews suitcases, luggage and travel accessories for a living and is our resident frequent flyer, has rounded up the deals worth shopping below.

There have been lots of great bargains so far, but my current favourites include the trtl Travel Pillow which is 25% off, and various bits of Antler luggage which has between 25% and 30% off. They're still investments, but all real quality buys.

When is Amazon Prime Day 2024?

If you’re planning a getaway this summer, you’re in luck: Amazon Prime Day starts at 00:01 on Tuesday 16 July and finishes at midnight on Wednesday 17 July.

You'll find big savings on everything from home appliances to makeup products and tech. And, we’ll be bringing you the best deals across these categories on our main hub page throughout the two days.

Do you have to be an Amazon Prime member to shop?

Yes – unfortunately if you’re not a member you won’t be able to access the best savings. But you can sign up for a 30-day free trial to enjoy the offers.

But remember to cancel before the trial ends to avoid automatically moving onto the £8.99 a month membership.

For something that stands out on the luggage belt, look no further than this large suitcase. The capacity expands up to 110 litres and its hard sided design was durable when our testers bashed it around a bit. The zip isn't waterproof, and it was a bit noisy on cobbles, but it's a great value buy.
