The Gtech Pro Bagged Vacuum stick vac is very versatile and intuitive to use with a good selection of tools for different tasks. Pick-up was excellent on all floor surfaces both in stick mode and the handheld mode. In stick mode, crumb and debris pickup was good on carpet, but fine dust pickup on the carpet was not as good. If you've got pets, you'll be pleased to hear it was very good at picking up pet hair in just one or two sweeps and pet hair doesn't get clogged in the rotating brush.
The dust bag is easy to change and self-sealing, but the lid to the bag compartment is a bit stiff to remove. In stick mode it glides nicely along all floor surfaces and is very manoeuvrable, but as a handheld unit testers found it heavy and bulky.
The vacuum doesn't stand up on its own, so when stopping midway through vacuuming to move something out of the way, it has to be leant against something which is a bit annoying.

GHI Expert Verdict
If you prefer a vacuum that isn't bagless, you'll have noticed that most cordless stick vacuums are now bagless. This new Gtech Pro Bagged Vacuum, however, might be just what you're looking for. It takes a dust bag, is straightforward to use and pick-up is great too.
