The weather is finally getting warmer and, while we’re pleased to see the return of the sun, tucking into bed in a hot and sticky room often means sleep starts to suffer. Swapping thicker winter bedding for lighter options can help stem the night sweats, so we’re pleased to see that one of the GHI’s best summer duvets, the Emma Cloud, is currently half price on the brand’s website.

The massive discount means you can pick up a double for £67.50 down from £135, and a king-size for just £77.50 down from £155. Not bad!

Emma Cloud Duvet

Emma Cloud Duvet

Our GHI team scored this 6.7 tog duvet a very impressive 90/100 on test. They thought it was comfy and well-constructed, with an evenly distributed filling that kept its shape well after washing. Marking a win in the fight against stuffy nights, the vast majority of testers thought it regulated their body temperature well in bed, helping make a comfortable sleep possible.

In fact, there wasn’t much the team disliked about this duvet. They did find that it stretched a little after a wash, but the 2cm difference wasn’t enough to impact how well it fitted into a standard double-sized cover. Stick to washing at a temperature below 60C to ensure it stays in best condition.

Really, anything that makes sleeping through a heatwave easier is a worthy investment by our standards – and the 50% discount here just makes this an extra sweetener. You can pick up one of the Emma Cloud duvets on the brand’s website here. The sale is running for one week only, ending on May 1st.
