What is it?
This cloth is designed to remove even the toughest makeup with just warm water and without harmful chemicals or synthetic makeup removers. Its soft material aims to prevent the irritation caused by chemicals in many face wipes, so it's suitable for sensitive skin. It can be reused up to 500 times, is machine washable and available in seven bright shades.
GHI expert verdict
According to 86% of our testers, this cloth effectively removed all traces of makeup with just water. They appreciated that its soft material was kind on the skin and that it's large, so they could cover different areas with a fresh bit of material each time. 93% found it easy to wash, saying that it retained its colour and shape and that there was minimal staining. Although some testers found it hard to remove waterproof mascara, 86% would happily swap this cloth for disposable pads. It also took off most makeup in our lab test, scoring six out of 10.

How we test
We had 69 testers test 11 reusable makeup remover pads over two weeks. They assessed the design, material, how effective it was at removing makeup and more. For our lab test, we applied waterproof eyeliner, foundation and lipstick onto artificial skin and counted the number of swipes needed to remove the makeup with each product. We then recorded how much residual makeup was left on the skin to determine how effective each pad was.
