It's no secret that Victoria Beckham doesn't smile (like, ever) in public, and she once half-joked in a Vogue interview that it's because 'she has a duty to the fashion community.'
However the former Spice Girl has revealed a more deeper reason behind why she only seems to be happy behind closed doors.
Speaking in The Sunday Times' Style magazine, the 42-year-old said: 'I don't know if it's the years of being photographed and the criticism but I just feel exposed and vulnerable and uncomfortable, and I can't be myself.'

'I can't wait till I'm off [the red carpet] and we can all just have a drink, throw our heads back, and who cares if your lip gloss has worn off? You can relax.'
Posh has previously spoken about why she doesn't smile, saying it 'looks a little daft' in paparazzi photos.
'I smile in family pictures,' she stressed. 'When you're in a position to be paparazzi-ed just walking down the street, you'd look a little daft if you were smiling all the time.'

It wasn't the only line from the recent Style interview that made headlines, as Victoria also seemed to throw a spot of shade at the new Spice Girls group GEM, made up of Geri Horner, Emma Bunton and Mel B.
On whether she wished her former bandmates well, the fashion designer formerly known as Posh Spice said: 'Of course, as a new group, I do.'
'I do think they should sing new material, though, because what we did as the Spice Girls was so special. If they sang Spice Girls songs, I think I might be a bit sad.'
