A few weeks ago, Nana Betty took the internet by storm by being hew granddaughter’s bridesmaid.
And now a couple in Connecticut have shunned the traditional little flower girls and asked their beautiful grandmothers to step in instead.
The result was Renee Rubin and Joanne C. Reich having a blast as they scattered petals down the aisle, no doubt making the big day extra special.

Bride Rachel told the Huffington Post, ‘They loved telling everyone that they were the flower “ladies.” I think DD (Renee Rubin) may have even pumped her fist when I asked her and yelled, “Alright!”’
She added, ‘Our grandmothers, who both love to travel, serve as inspiration for us and our future together’.
What’s more, the two grandmas had never met before, and their role in the wedding meant they hit it off straight away.
