You’re obsessed with Strictly, right? Same. So, you can imagine our excitement when behind-the-scenes Instagram account ‘Only on Strictly’ popped up, giving us a hilarious insight backstage at SCD.
The account, run by two of the show’s make-up artists, charts life in the dressing room for the pro dancers and celebrity contestants alike – and some of their antics have had us cracking up.
From Aston Merrygold having his beard dyed blue to Janette Manrara hiding under her hair extensions and Giovanni Pernice trying on some – er – interesting wigs, it seems like the hair and makeup room at Elstree studios is a truly fun place to be on Saturday afternoons.

If that’s not up close and personal, we don’t know what is. We’ll definitely be keeping a beady eye on Only on Strictly from now until the end of the series.
