You might have been a bit sceptical of Samantha Cameron's cooking skills prior to her Great Sport Relief Bake Off appearance. Leading a high profile lifestyle as a successful businesswoman, mum and the Prime Minister’s wife, would she even have the time to bake?
But you know what, we were pretty impressed with Sam, especially seeing as she went and won this week's episode!
Joined in the tent by ex-goalkeeper David James, EastEnders actress Maddy Hill and comedian Jason Manford, the team were put through their paces by Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood.

THE SIGNATURE BAKE
The first challenge saw the group create 24 canapés made from rough puff pastry, and Sam blew the judges away with her Cornish crab and shrimp tomato curry Vol-au-vent’s with Paul admitting they were ‘just perfect.’
Maddy’s children’s party pizza canapés went down surprisingly well too, and even Jason’s scallop and black pudding canapés were a hit.
Unfortunately the same couldn’t be said for David’s jerk chicken, rice and peas filled pastries, which were on the rather large side, and raw.

THE TECHNICAL CHALLENGE
Despite excelling in the first challenge, Sam found the technical challenge a little more difficult. Tasked with creating a Paris-Brest, a praline flavoured cream and choux pastry dessert; Sam struggled with some of the simpler tasks.
‘I’ve never seen a vanilla pod before,’ she told the cameras, while she also struggled to use a piping bag, whisking machine and the oven timer. Oh dear!
But she still came second, with Jason just beating her due to the burnt praline in her creation.

THE SHOWSTOPPER CHALLENGE
The final challenge saw the four contestants bake a ‘sporting trophy cake,’ which included Jason’s cricket inspired Battenberg, and Maddy’s Swiss roll yoga mat.
However it was Sam’s ‘Surf’s Up’ cake, inspired by her family’s trips to the seaside that caught Mel’s eye.
‘That’s very blue,’ Mel joked, referencing the 'First Lady's' political allegiance to the Tory party, before prompting her to add some strawberries in the middle for ‘impartiality.’
Mel gave Sam some word's of advice about her colour choice
But her work paid off, as her showstopper creation was sugar paste perfection, and both Mary and Paul were impressed by her cookery skills.
So is it any suprise she won? She breezed through the Vol-au-vent and showstopper challenge with ease, and even tackled the difficult Paris-Brest challenge with a decent end result.
We doubt she’ll be writing a cookbook anytime soon, but I bet she even surprised herself.
'I'm normally being given flowers for being David's wife so it's really nice to be given flowers for doing something that I've done on my own,' she gushed to the camera.
And although she admitted David Cameron is a ‘fantastic cook,’ he may now have a bit of competition in the kitchen at 10 Downing Street.
