Great British Bake Off judges Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood reportedly could be joining forces again on the US version...

According to The Sun, execs at US network ABC were so impressed with Mary's Great American Baking Show that it's likely to return, possibly with Paul in tow, and possibly at the end of this year.

A source told the newspaper: 'The Great American Baking Show did really well in the ratings and execs love the British accent.'

'They may want to get the pair back together again for their on-screen chemistry.'

'There would also be a lot of interest here and a UK channel would probably show it for the first time.'

Obviously, Mary quit the Great British Bake Off following its move to Channel 4, but she returned as a judge on the show's American spin-off (also from Love Productions) back in December.

The Great American Baking Show (see how they changed the name ever so slightly there) saw My Big Fat Greek Wedding's Nia Vardalos and husband Ian Gomez returning as hosts alongside Mary.

Meanwhile, Paul will still be judging The Great BRITISH Bake Off when it moves over to Channel 4 for a format that he promises will 'stay exactly the same.'

The UK version is expected to premiere its brand new hosts and judge for a celebrity Stand Up to Cancer series next year, before airing a full civilian series in 2017 on Channel 4.

And there are already rumblings about about Mel, Sue, Mary and Bake Off winner Nadiya Hussain pairing up for a new BBC cookery show (thanks to some hints from BBC director of content Charlotte Moore).
