Warning: This article contains spoilers for Line of Duty series 4, episode 3 - DO NOT read before you've seen the episode.
You don't tune into BBC One's Line of Duty expecting a chilled hour's viewing, but tonight's episode was the most stress-making yet.
The latest chapter revealed that Nick Huntley (Lee Ingleby) is hiding a big secret... and climaxed with a stunning twist.
DS Steve Arnott (Martin Compston) decided to pay skittish Nick a visit at his place of work – not realising that Nick's car had been spotted near the flat of the late Tim Ifield (Jason Watkins) on the night that the forensic co-ordinator was murdered.

As Steve headed up in a lift to confront Nick, his colleagues at AC-12 left him a phone message, warning him that his quarry could be "dangerous" – but it was too late...
Caught off guard, Steve was brutally beaten by a masked assailant, before being tossed over the stair railings - plummeting downwards, three whole floors.
Steve was last seen lying prone, apparently lifeless, on the stairs – blood pouring from a head wound. Is Steve dead? And was it Nick who attacked him? (We're presuming so – but this is Line of Duty, so you never know...)
If you'll allow us to be smug for a moment, we'd called Arnott's demise from week one - he's been dissatisfied with his position at AC-12, and Compston himself had hinted at "something that happens that's a big shock" to the show's characters, something that tests their emotions "to the limit".
We'll have to wait a whole week to find out if Arnott's really a goner. If so, we hope he's laid to rest still wearing his waistcoat. It's what he would've wanted.
Line of Duty continues next Sunday at 9pm on BBC One.
