You won't believe this Julie Andrews Sound of Music Oscar tribute

To celebrate 50 years since the release of The Sound of Music, Lady Gaga gave a phenomenal medley performance of the Julie Andrews songs. Then Maria herself came on stage!

Fans of The Sound of Music may already know that the 1965 movie is 50 years old this year and it was celebrated with a wonderful Lady Gaga tribute at the Oscars 2015.

Like Les Misérables at the Academy Awards a couple of years ago, there was a brief interlude of song and this time it was in honour of the great Julie Andrews.

Taking on the tricky singing role of Maria was pop singer Lady Gaga, who gave an incredible performance and was later greeted by Julie herself.
