While you’ll always love your children, parenting can be downright exhausting at times.
One mum, Katie Kirby, has tackled this on her blog, Hurrah For Gin, with stick-men illustrations that portray the numerous things parents have to face with their kids in good humour. Some of her previous drawings have included ‘Kids vs. Shopping’, ‘Kids On A Plane – A Survivors Account’ and ‘A Billion Reasons Why I Hate The School Run’.
Writing on her site, Katie explains she started the blog ‘on a whim one night, probably under the influence of gin after a bad day.’

She continues, ‘I will be the first to admit that I have struggled with many aspects of parenting but am firmly of the opinion that if you don’t laugh about the challenges you will cry.
‘Through “Hurrah For Gin” I try to give a real and humorous account of parenting young children – the happy, the sad, the good and the bad.’
