It's not Star Wars without Han Solo, so we were pleased to see that the upcoming instalment of the epic sci-fi film series sees none other than Harrison Ford reprising his role, with Chewbacca for back-up!

Having first played the character in 1977, and reportedly asking film director George Lucas to kill him off at the end of Return Of The Jedi, Harrison Ford will return to the big screen for yet another space adventure.

The new film, Star Wars: The Force Awakens (also known as Star Wars Episode VII) is set around 30 years after the events of Return Of The Jedi, and sees three new lead characters join Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, C-3PO and R2-D2.

Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong'o has also landed a starring role, along with Game Of Thrones actress Gwendoline Christie, and Andy Serkis, who famously brought Gollum to life in Lord of the Rings.

Due for release this Christmas, we can't wait to see Harrison and the gang back on screen!
