Social experiments are always interesting to watch, and often shocking, since they record honest reactions from people in awkward or uncomfortable circumstances.
Known for their pranks, YouTube channel Trollstation has uploaded an experimental video of a woman being inappropriately touched on a London tube. Their aim was to note reactions from onlookers.
The three-minute clip shows a man standing uncomfortably close to a young woman on a busy train carriage. He can be seen moving towards her, and the instant he establishes physical contact, the female says, ‘Can you not touch me? You know that’s sexual assault.’
Unbeknown to other passengers, the pair were, thankfully, actors.

When the woman alerted two men standing nearby, others overheard and swiftly intervened, telling the man in question to back away.
Whilst it was extremely reassuring to see various men defending the woman, the situation escalated very quickly, forcing the actors to reveal their identities in order to defuse the tension.
Trollstation hopes that the experiment will encourage others to report such incidences, as they are simply not acceptable.
