With Poldark season three in full swing, there’s one character people are seriously disliking more than ever before. No prizes for guessing who – that’s right, Elizabeth Warleggan.

So far in the series we’ve seen Ross’ old flame become increasingly cold-hearted, moving to the country with her ruthless husband George and new baby Valentine, leaving older son Geoffrey Charles to be cared for by his nanny Morwenna.

She’s not bonding well with her new baby, and has turned to a ‘tincture’ prescribed by a doctor to get her through daily life; and with her obvious sadness turning her in to a less-than-pleasant character, viewers are disliking her more and more.
