She might have been fired from The Apprentice, but candidate Elizabeth McKenna can comfort herself with the fact she's made bouquets for future royalty.

In fact, she presented a posy to none other than the most Googled person of 2017 and future wife of Prince Harry, Meghan Markle.

Yep, it has been revealed that the most talked about candidate of this year’s series was asked to make a posy for Meghan during her visit to Nottingham.

Nottingham Academy commissioned Elizabeth to create a purple posy for Meghan, which was presented to her by a student. The posy itself included forget-me-nots and eucalyptus.

Elizabeth revealed that she chose these two because she ‘wanted the day to be remembered’ and because eucalyptus is Australian’s national tree (where Elizabeth was born).

The posy handle was also bound in Nottingham lace as Nottingham is famous for it.

And we're not going to lie, we are pretty impressed with Elizabeth's efforts...

Meghan and Prince Harry were in Nottingham in honour of World AIDs Day, visiting a Terrene Higgins Trust charity.
