Simon is the Doctor Foster character we all love to hate, meaning actor Bertie Carvel, who plays him, has admitted he’s ‘at risk’ from the public.
However, we reckon plenty of people would be hard pushed to even recognise Bertie in the street, given that he looks completely different in real life.
The actor appeared on This Morning today, and viewers could not believe how unlike Simon he looked as he was interviewed by Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.

Bertie even tried to defend the much-reviled Simon from the BBC drama, saying ‘He has redeeming features’.
He continued: He hates [Gemma], he loves her. He loves to hate her. It's complex.
'He's angry with Gemma, he's angry with himself. All of these things that make a complex human being. I was persuading myself this isn't a two-dimensional bad guy.'
The drama continues tonight on BBC One at 9pm.
