Catherine Zeta-Jones and her 15-year-old daughter, Carys Zeta Douglas, have posed together for a gorgeous mother-daughter photo shoot which appears on the latest cover of Town & Country magazine.
Revealing the cover via Instagram, Carys wrote: “Thank you to my beautiful mother for her constant support during this exciting time, I love you more than words could say.”
Carys is the 15-year-old daughter of Michael Douglas, 73, and Catherine, 48, and has hopes of following in her parents’ footsteps and becoming an actor.
While she dreams of acting, Carys is no stranger to the world of fashion, having appeared with her mum at recent designer shows.
“Fashion has been so important in my life, because my mom is like a fashion icon to me,” Carys told Town & Country. “I’m always looking through her closet.”
Her mother added: “She has her own individual style… She’s modern but age-appropriate. I’ve never had to turn to Carys and say, ‘I think that’s a little inappropriate.’”
In the interview, Zeta-Jones, also mum to 17-year-old Dylan, spoke about why she’s so proud of her children.
“What I instilled in my kids, and I’m very, very proud of it, is manners,” she said. “There’s nothing worse than a privileged kid without manners. I drilled it into them like boot camp. The teenage years... She knows she cannot roll her eyes at me, or huff and puff around me. I never did it to my mother, and she’s not doing it to me.”
The full interview appears in the September 2018 issue of Town & Country and can be read in full here.
