Newt Scamander is going to have another little wizard around the house soon — or at least the actor who plays him will.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them star Eddie Redmayne and his wife Hannah Bagshawe have shared the muggle-nificent news that they're having their second child.

'Eddie and Hannah Redmayne are delighted to confirm they are expecting their second child,' their spokesperson confirmed to E! News.

The couple are sharing this news just over a month away from their third wedding anniversary. Back in December 2014, Eddie and Hannah exchanged vows at the scenic Babington House in Somerset.

Their wedding was a very intimate affair, with Eddie's representatives revealing at the time that the newlyweds chose to keep the guests to 'a small number of close family and friends'.

Two months later, Eddie would win his Best Actor Oscar and a BAFTA for his moving portrayal of Stephen Hawking in the biopic The Theory of Everything.

Stepping up to the platform to receive his Oscar in February 2015, he told the millions watching worldwide: 'I don't think I'm capable of articulating quite how I feel right now, but please know this, I am fully aware that I am a lucky, lucky man.'

As Eddie's luck flourished, so did his family. The actor and wife Hannah welcomed their first child, a daughter named Iris Mary, back in the summer of 2016.

The 35-year-old Westminster-born actor is currently working on the Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 2, which opens in the UK and US on November 16, 2018.
