Life in the tent is stressful but no more so than when you have to make delicate fortune cookies and bake an entire board game (not to mention when you decide to invent a whole new one - we're looking at you Yan).

But one baker seemed to crumble under the pressure and was to become this week's casualty.

After burning the biscuits for his 'The Great British Sail Off' boardgame and being accused of under decorating, it was Chris Geiger who was given his marching orders.

The 50-year-old software developer created a 100-piece showstopper but even his perfectly twirled compass wasn't enough to keep him in the game.

Talking to Radio Times, the baker reflected on his time in the tent: "My worst moment has to be the technical challenges, they were terrifying and clearly my downfall. Making a fortune cookie didn’t work for me – Stacey messed up too and had a second go, but I didn’t have the energy to do it again."

Meanwhile, it was better news for Steven who was named star baker after his brilliant chess board wowed the judges.

But now it's eyes to the future because next week brings the dreaded (by the bakers) but loved (by the viewers) Bread Week! We'll knead to catch up on our loaf knowledge before then...
