Channel 4 finally premiered its version of The Great British Bake Off earlier this week, and fans were relieved to see that the show was mostly the same.

Well, the companion series An Extra Slice aired last night (August 31) and it was even more similar to how it was on the BBC than the main show.

Jo Brand was back as the host, and people still bring their own home bakes in to be judged by the panel.

Prue Leith was one of tonight's panel, along with Pointless star Richard Osman and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown regular Roisin Conaty, and her banter with Richard (about her love of pole dancing and writing porn, no less) helped endear her to a few viewers who had yet to make up their mind on her:
