If you’d ever wondered what ‘Foundations’ singer Kate Nash had been up to since her No. 1 album a decade ago, it turns out she's turned her hand to acting.

And not just any old show, Nash has actually landed herself a role in Netflix’s latest original series, GLOW.


GLOW, an acronym for Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling, is a comedy-drama series that revolves around the 1980’s professional women’s wrestling circuit.

And despite Nash openly discussing her role in the lead up to its UK release last week, it didn’t stop fans freaking out when they realised she was in it:

So far the show has been commissioned for one, 10-episode series, but if all goes well, we could be seeing more. And we’re expecting good things, especially considering it’s from the creators of Homeland and Orange is the New Black.

Aside from GLOW, there’s plenty of other new things to watch on the streaming service. Gypsy, starring Naomi Watts, airs in the UK at the end of June, Orange is the New Black is now back for its fifth season and Okja, a Netflix original film is out at the end of the month.

And bad news for Girlboss fans, another Netflix original show, this week it was announced it would not be returning for a second series.
