Children truly have the capacity to be totally adorable, as demonstrated by this group of schoolkids from Birmingham.
A video shared by BBC Midlands shows the moment seven-year-old Anu walks into her school playground proudly sporting a new prosthetic leg.
Her friends can’t contain their excitement as they race over to get a closer look, with some even pulling her into a gleeful embrace.
They gather around her chanting her name and asking questions, with one friend simply exclaiming, ‘wow!’
The delighted group then charge off around the playground together.
So far the video, shared via Twitter on Thursday lunchtime, has been retweeted over 30,000 and amassed almost 50,000 likes.
In an interview posted to BBC Midland’s Facebook page on May 2, Anu can be seen playing at home with her family and talking about her leg.
She had her limb amputated shortly after she was born but has only just received the blade from the NHS after it was allocated £500,000 in 2016 to help finance sports prosthetics for children.

The new prosthetics allow Anu, and the other 500 children who have been allocated funding, to run, jump, swim and dance in addition to walking.
Supported by the West Midlands rehabilitation centre Anu can now ‘run faster and do [her] street dancing faster’.
And she certainly has some moves…
