Great British Bake Off winner Candice isn’t just talented in the kitchen – she’s also got skills on the sports field, working as a PE teacher for her day job.
However, Candice has revealed in an interview with Hello! magazine that her students were shocked to see her return to work following her win, with many pupils assuming that she was a millionaire after baking her way to victory on the show.
‘When I went into school after the final was on TV the kids went “Why are you in, miss? You’re a millionaire!”’ Candice laughed.

Alongside the interview, Candice posed for a photo shoot with the two men in her life: boyfriend Liam Macaulay and pug Dennis.
Addressing rumours of a possible engagement with her partner of four-and-a-half years, Candice said ‘We’ll get married one day but there’s no rush. We’ll have kids too… Family is very important to us both... We want it all.’
The baker praises Liam for keeping her grounded during her whirlwind rise to fame. ‘Liam is my biggest support. He tells me every day that he’s so proud of me.’
