Just in case you were in any doubt, today is Back to the Future day – 21 October 2015 – the day Marty McFly and Doc Brown travelled to in Back to the Future II in 1989… and the internet has lots its mind.
Not that we’re surprised, of course. While the original film predicted we’d be living in a world of hoverboards, self-tying shoelaces and flying cars (in case you hadn’t noticed, we’re not) we are living in a world where a hashtag rules our lives.
