The most popular baby names of the year in the UK recently, seeing Grey cited as one of the most popular baby names in 2015 (presumably after the male lead in Fifty Shades of Grey).
Now, the Social Security Administration has published the full list of top 1,000 baby names in America, and it looks like there are plenty of sci fi fans in the U.S. with Anakin, a.k.a. Darth Vader from Star Wars in the top 1,000 with 218 babes born with that name, according to the list.
In fact, it seems like Star Wars is a popular film to garner baby name inspiration, with Luke coming in as the 28th most popular name with 10,431 Luke’s born last year, and Leia being the 509th most popular name amongst girls.
