Live TV can be a bit of a minefield - and this was demonstrated by BBC news presenter Carole Walker – who was caught unaware and brushing her hair live on the 9 o'clock news yesterday
The camera panned in and poor Carole was unprepared and still making herself presentable for her bulletin - but as it dawned on Carole that she was being filmed, and that it was time to start presenting, she discreetly hid the hairbrush under the desk and continued with the headlines.
