Keeping your house tidy is hard work. Constantly clearing up after other people, vacuuming pet hair that's forever getting EVERYWHERE, and just generally keeping things in order – yes, it’s a never-ending cycle.

So much so that one dad has gone to hilarious (and creative) lengths to get his teenagers to tidy up after themselves.

With inspiration from the hugely successful film franchise Taken, featuring Liam Neeson as fictional CIA assassin and doting father Bryan Mills, the father’s note begins by stating, ‘I don’t know who you are. I don’t know what you want. If you are looking for a maid to clean up after you, I can tell you I don’t do that’.

The note carries on to remind his kids that if they do not clean up their mess, he will ‘disconnect’ them from their phones and access to WiFi.
