Meet Buzz and Glenn, two special dogs who are inseparable.

Buzz is blind, so his pal Glenn, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, acts as his very own ‘guide dog’. Glenn helps his pal by leading him on walks, helping him get into bed and assisting him to his bowl for food.

The pair were discovered by Stray Aid, a re-homing centre for dogs, after they were abandoned in a sea tunnel in Hartlepool.

Speaking to ABC News, Hannah Critchlow, a Stray Aid volunteer, said, ‘They instantly had a bond when they came in, so we kept them together. Whenever they’re separated they start crying and barking for each other.

‘They have to stay together.’

It is believed that the dogs were abandoned because of their age (roughly 10 years old) and Glenn’s sight problems.

But it’s not all bad news. Since going under the spotlight, the duo has attracted a lot of attention – and a lot of offers.

‘We’ve been overwhelmed with offers of homes for the boys. We’re only just starting the process of sifting through all the applications!’ Stray Aid wrote on their Facebook page, where you can keep up with the latest news.
