Princess Eugenie has shared new photographs of baby August to mark his first birthday.
On Instagram, the Princess posted a photograph of herself holding baby August on a snowy mountain alongside husband Jack Brooksbank.
In the caption, Princess Eugenie revealed her son’s sweet nickname is, “Augie”.
“Happy 1st Birthday to our little hero Augie,” she wrote, adding that he is such a “a special soul that brightens every room with [his] smile and wave.”
The Princess finished the post by saying, “You have made us so very proud. We love you!” with three blue heart emojis.
Members of the public were quick to offer their best birthday wishes to the young royal, writing, “Happy 1st birthday August!!!” and “Happy birthday August and congratulations on making it through the first year Your Royal Highness!”
There have been some adorable snaps posted since his baby August's birth last year.
The couple announced their son's arrival with a sweet black and white photograph of his tiny hand. The accompanying caption was simply three blue heart emojis and two exclamation marks.
One of the most memorable reveals was then a post the day after Princess Eugenie’s birthday.
In the photo shared to her Instagram account, the couple stand next to a tree holding their son who wears a knitted jumper which spells “August” across the back.
