The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge stepped out today (1 November) in Glasgow and Duchess Kate looked ultra-chic in a low-key outfit perfect for the chiller weather.
This is the couple’s first royal duty since returning to work following half term. The Duke and Duchess met with Scouts at Alexandra Park Sports Hub in Dennistoun, Glasgow to celebrate the organisation's #PromiseToThePlanet campaign. The couple could be seen chatting and laughing with Scouts in the official photographs.
Looking preened but casual, Kate opted for black skinny jeans, a black turtleneck light knit, a cosy looking quilted khaki gilet by Danish brand Ganni and £250 See by Chloe lace-up flat boots which she has previously worn before. She wore her hair down with her signature bouncy waves and kept her beauty classic with glowing skin, fluttery lashes and nude lips.
Unfortunately, the exact gilet is predictably out of stock already but we’ve scoured the net to bring you stylish quilted alternatives so you can copy the utilitarian look.
No doubt the pair will be photographed much more over the coming days. They are currently visiting the Scottish city as part of COP26 this week and will later join Prince Charles to host a reception for the key members of the Sustainable Markets Initiative and the winners and finalists of the first Earthshot Prize Awards. Afterwards they are due to attend an evening reception alongside the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall.
