Nicole Kidman has reunited with Big Little Lies and The Undoing show-runner David E Kelley Nine Perfect Strangers.
The eight-part series is adapted from the best-selling novel by Liane Moriarty, who is serving as an executive producer, and as writer on one episode. Big Little Lies was also based on the book of the same title by Moriarty, who again, worked closely with Kidman and Kelley on the award-winning adaptation.
Kidman will star as the seemingly serene director of a mysterious wellness centre called Tranquillum, to provide a peaceful haven for nine stressed out and fatigued guests.
However, the guests soon discover that their getaway comes at a price as their well-earned break begins to unravel.
Nine Perfect Strangers: When is it released?
Nine Perfect Strangers will be released on Hulu in the US, and launch on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, August 20. The first three episodes will be released on this date, with the remaining five added weekly until the finale on Friday, September 24.

The impressive ensemble includes Kidman as wellness guru Masha, and Oscar-nominee Melissa McCarthy as romance novelist Frances Welty, who is attending Masha's health retreat as she's "in need of some fixing."
The other unwitting guests include Beauty and the Beast's Luke Evans as a divorce lawyer, Regina Hall as a single mother, Melvin Gregg and Samara Weaving as a wealthy but fractious couple, along with Michael Shannon, Bobby Cannavale and Grace Van Patten.

Nine Perfect Strangers: The plot
Adapted from the best-selling thriller of the same title by Liane Moriaty, the story follows an enigmatic wellness guru (played by Kidman) who runs a wellness retreat offering rundown guests a path to enlightenment.
Though the location is idyllic, the guests soon discover a sinister side to the retreat which threatens their downfall.
Nine Perfect Strangers episodes 1 -7 are available to stream on Amazon Prime Video now. The finale launches on Friday, September 24.
