Loose Women star Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash have shared the wonderful news that they are expecting their second child together.

Solomon revealed the announcement on Instagram on Wednesday (June 9) that the couple were going to be expanding their blended family.

"We are growing another pickle," she said. "We've never felt so grateful... I have no words. We didn't think we would get the chance.

"We love you all to the moon and back. Lots of love From Me, Joe, Harry, Zach, Leighton, Rex, and our little pickle."

Congratulations from the pair's friends have been rolling in on social media, with This Morning's Rochelle Humes writing: "SO over the moon for you."

Stacey's Loose Women co-host Nadia Sawalha revealed that her friend had been waiting for a special time to share her pregnancy news.

"Phew ! Have been praying it would stay a secret for as long as you wanted !!!! Love you all," Sawalha wrote.

This major life moment follows the pair moving into their dream home, called Pickle Cottage, and getting engaged last Christmas Eve.

Unfortunately, Stacey announced this past spring that her and Joe's wedding was being rescheduled from its original July date.

"Oh god. So we had a venue and then obviously we didn't know we were going to move here but then we saw the house and just thought, 'Oh my god, let's go for it' and now that we are here, we would actually really like to get married in the garden," she told Lorraine guest host Cat Deeley in April.

"So we are trying to see if we can do that but we don't know if we will be able to get a licence.

"So the wedding planning is a bit on hold at the moment, because we don't know exactly where or what we are going to do."

Loose Women airs on weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV.
