The Duchess of Cambridge stepped out for her first in-person engagement since before the start of lockdown on Friday morning (19 June), as she visited a garden centre near the Cambridge family home.
Kate was visiting the Fakenham Garden Centre in Norfolk, close to Amner Hall, where she has been spending lockdown with Prince William and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
The royal was all smiles as she arrived, wearing a country chic outfit, which consisted of a gilet jacket worn over a pale blue linen shirt and teamed with brown trousers and a pair of Superga khaki-coloured trainers.
Kate's hair was worn in a relaxed half-up, half-down style that she has showed off numerous times during lockdown when making video call appearances on Zoom.
The Duchess spoke with the garden centre's owners, Martin and Jennie Turner, during her visit. As a keen gardener, she wanted to find out more about how the coronavirus pandemic has impacted the family-run business.
This is the first appearance Kate has made in person since before the start of UK lockdown in March, although she has carried out engagements virtually over the last few months. On Thursday (18 June), she led a virtual school assembly, wearing a stunning Marks & Spencer printed dress, which is still available to buy.

Other senior members of the royal family, including Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, have also stepped out for the first time this week.
If the Duchess's latest outfit has inspired you, then you're in luck because the cool and comfortable Superga trainers she appears to be wearing are still available to order online for £55.
Kate has been pictured in the shoes before, most recently in a throwback photo shared last month from her time spent working on her 'Back to Nature' garden at the Chelsea Flower Show in 2019.
The Duchess also re-wore another favourite accessory for the garden centre visit, her Monica Vinader Siren Wire Earrings in Green Onyx, which she has been pictured wearing on numerous occasions over the years.
