Lorraine Kelly has finally been able to welcome her daughter, Rosie, home in an emotional reunion.

The ITV presenter’s daughter chose to go into self-imposed quarantine for two weeks, after she returned from her current home in Singapore, back to her family in the UK.

On Wednesday (13 May), Lorraine shared a heart-warming video on her ITV show, displaying her daughter's return, where she revealed it was “great to have her back”.

Upon landing in the UK, Rosie explained that there were no checks for those arriving at the airport, and that she was able to just walk straight through. “It was exactly the same as normal,” she said. "We were the only flight to come in”.

The 25-year-old explained that she didn't feel right coming straight back to her family home from Singapore and therefore chose to self-quarantine for a fortnight. “I didn’t feel comfortable coming off the flight and going straight home. It just felt like it’s a bit of an unknown situation, so I’d rather be careful” she said.

Lorraine praised her daughter's decision to self-quarantine, calling it ”very sensible”.

It now seems like the pair have plenty of quality time lined up together too, as Lorraine explained that they’re going to do an online bootcamp class every day, and that Rosie’s also going to teach her how to cook. The pair agreed they’ll start with an easy, chocolatey option.

“It’s really good the two weeks are over now and we can all be together,” Lorraine added.
