On Saturday (2 November), England faced off against South Africa in the Rugby World Cup final but, before the team hit the field, they got some very special support from a few royal fans...
During a press conference on Friday (1 November), the England team were asked whether they had received any support for their big game from the royal family and Sam Underhill, a flanker for the team, revealed they've had some special royal well-wishes.
"Not personally," Underhill joked. "But as a group we've had a couple of messages." He added, "Prince Harry sent us a nice message of support, which was nice to receive. Showed his little lad in an England shirt, so that was a nice touch."
The "little lad" in question, we have to presume, is Archie – albeit without photographic evidence.
Obviously, the love of the sport runs in the family: Archie's dad, Prince Harry is a big fan and even became patron of the Rugby Football Union in 2017. In fact, he was actually in Japan, where this year's Rugby World Cup was held, to support the team in person.
Although England didn't take home the win, we're still hoping we might get to see a picture of Archie in his team shirt...
