Clarence House has celebrated Prince Charles' 70th birthday today (14 November) by releasing a touching photo montage of pictures from his life on social media.
The post was captioned: "Happy 70th birthday to HRH The Prince of Wales."
The series of snaps is displayed in chronological order, from sweet baby and childhood photos, through to snapshots of his life as a young man, family moments with the late Princess Diana and their young sons, and present day pictures with the Queen and the Duchess of Cornwall.
The montage ends fittingly with one of the two portraits taken at Clarence House and released last night (13 November) of Charles surrounded by his closest family members, including his grandchildren, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
Royal fans were quick to like and comment on the post, with many astonished by how much a young (and bearded) Prince Charles looks like his youngest son in one shot...
"Am I the only one who just realized that Harry looks JUST like him? Wow," wrote one fan, while another added: "You can really see Harry in one of the pics!"
And, we have to say, we definitely agree!
