Prince William has revealed how his eldest son Prince George takes after his late mother Princess Diana with one of his favourite hobbies.

The Duke of Cambridge was at a reception for the finalists of the Radio 1 Teen Awards at Kensington Palace with Kate Middleton where he chatted to some Teen Heroes about five-year-old George’s love of dancing.

In a video shared on Twitter by Kensington Palace, William reveals the youngster’s passion while talking to Junior, a 14-year-old street dancing champion.

"George is doing dancing as well," says. "He loves it. And it's kind of… my mother always used to dance, she loved dancing.

"And if it's something you love, you do what you love. Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise. Keep at it."

Kate has also previously spoken of her children’s favourite activities, recently revealing that George and Charlotte spend "hours" hunting spiders in the garden.

The Duchess was at visiting the Sayers Croft Forest School and Wildlife Garden in London on her first solo royal outing after the birth of Prince Louis when she spoke of her two eldest children’s favourite pastime.
